I’m back at this website and already bringing a very personal theme that I’ve been complaining to myself about for the last months or so. Sorry if I sound boring, but I have to ask you guys.
Do you guys remember Google? You know? The website that used to know everything about anything.
If you do, probably you still use it for some sort of activity like searching a movie and where to watch it, searching some words that you don’t know the meaning of, or even searching for some piece of clothing that you would want to buy someday, that’s probably my average use of Google as well.
But I fear that many people on the internet have either never used Google, or at least just forgotten about it.
If any of that is true, it would explain the amount of random simple things that I see people not knowing about and asking random strangers on the internet via their video comment section.
Like really random things…
It’s like we’re back at a time when you can only learn something from someone telling you or you having the access to a very big library to search in it.
Did people forget that Google is someone that you can ask some things as well?
I know my main theme here is fashion, but as I started to create content for the internet on the last few months, I just realized that people want you to tell them how to learn things from scratch.
(PS: I’m not hating on my followers or anyone, I just need to express this.)
Like you tell people about your favorite designer, and suddenly they are asking, “How can I buy something from this brand?” even if it is a huge brand like Balenciaga.
Like guys, just go on the internet and type “Balenciaga,” and you will probably find it.

When you say that you like something, people start asking:
How can I find it? Where? What is this? Where did you get it from? Can you give us the link? Can you give us the name? Can you tell me how I can find things like yours? How can I have that item? How do I look for it? Where do I look for it? Where can I learn about it?
And obviously most of the time I answer with details and a lot of patience and appreciation for someone to even ask my opinion, but at the same time sometimes I feel like I’m trying to tell someone a very specific thing to someone who is not even that interested.
And most of the time, I feel grateful for having people at least commenting on my videos; I have no followers.
But at the same time, it gets me that this generation of the internet is so soo used to having things sold directly to them that I feel like the ability to search for something has disappeared.
And I get myself asking this question every time: Do you guys even remembered to go search for it on Google to start with?
How can something be your dream thing, but you have never typed it onto Google?
Fashion careers
Vintage stores
Your favorite brand
Your dream shoe
How to start a brand
How to be a designer
When did that happen?
Just remember that a website can be your friend, and searching for things that you want to learn about helps you to make the right questions to the people who can actually help you.
Remembering, here is my safe space and I would also love to hear your opinions and thoughts, so if you agreed, disagreed, think totally differently from me, feel free to leave a comment here so we can have fun and discuss about fashion, as we love to do ♡ ତ(´˶• . • ⑅ )ິଓ
